Make it yours
Every mode, the flip rate, the width of the strip, and the colours. Pick any text colour from the wheel, sit the board on a wallpaper or a plain colour, or leave it on Auto and it reads whatever is behind it.
Any colour text on any wallpaper or plain background. Animated and dynamic wallpapers shift behind the board, so they may not blend quite as cleanly.
A bar with nothing to prove
Flappi Bar tucks your other menu bar icons off-screen, Control Centre included, and runs the stats beside your clock. Hover the board and Flappi steps aside, handing back your real icons and clock; move away and it flips back over them.

It started at an airport
I’ve always loved split-flap boards. Standing under one, waiting for my gate to turn over, there’s a beat where the whole thing clatters and you have no choice but to wait for the answer. Nothing else waits like that anymore. There was something about it I wanted back.
FLAPPI BAR is that feeling on your Mac. A single calm row at the top of the screen, quietly turning over the things you’d otherwise reach for your phone to check, the time anywhere in the world, the weather, whatever is next on your calendar. Barely there when you don’t need it, and everything that matters right where you look when you do.

Once it’s running, hover the board and Flappi steps aside, handing back your other icons and clock; move away and it flips back over them. Press Shift-Command-B (⇧⌘B) any time to open Settings; quit from there with Command-Q.
